Amy Adams showed once again that she is a superstar, and she didn’t even need a big budget movie to prove that.

The 39-year-old Academy Award-winning actress reportedly gave up her first class seat on a plane trip out of Detroit to a U.S. soldier sitting in coach. They were both headed to Los Angeles on the same flight.

Jemele Hill of ESPN’s ‘Numbers Never Lie’ tweeted what she saw and spoke to ABC News about the act of kindness.

“I noticed Ms. Adams was in first class and as I was getting seated, I saw the flight attendant guide the soldier to Ms. Adams’ seat. She was no longer in it, but it was pretty clear that she’d given up her seat for him,” Hill said.  “I was incredibly impressed, and I’m not even sure if the soldier knew who gave him that seat. I guess he will now!”

Hill also reported that Adams spoke with the soldier briefly after the switch, and then took her seat in coach.

Adams was in Detroit filming scenes for ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,’ which is scheduled to hit theaters May 6, 2016.
