Iggy Azalea Bashes Azealia Banks on Twitter, Calls Her a ‘Bigot’ and ‘Miserable’
by Karen Lanza | PopCrushIf you thought there would be a holiday ceasefire in the ugly Iggy Azalea and Azealia Banks feud, you would be wrong.
Iggy took to Twitter early today (Dec. 19) to slam Banks over comments she made in a radio interview on Thursday (Dec. 18). Banks said on-air, “The Grammys are supposed to be awards for artistic excellence … Iggy Azalea’s not excellent.”
Iggy fired back furiously, calling her hip-hop competitor a “miserable, angry human being,” a “bigot” and much, much more. While Twitter is definitely a great device to get the word out, it was clear that the service’s limit of 140 characters wasn’t going to be enough for Iggy to say what she wanted to say. She blew up followers’ Twitter feeds with a rapid series of messages:
Special msg for banks: There are many black artists succeeding in all genres. The reason you haven't is because of your piss poor attitude.

Your inability to be responsible for your own mistakes, bullying others, the inability to be humble or have self control. It's YOU!

you created your own unfortunate situation by being a bigot and don't have the mental capacity to realize yet. Probably never will.

You're poisonous and I feel genuinely sorry for you because it's obvious at this point you are a MISERABLE, angry human being. Regards!

Earlier this month, the two attacked each other on Twitter over Banks’ criticisms of Iggy’s stance on black social issues. With neither artist likely to back down, this feud is likely to rage on for quite a while.
What do you think, PopCrushers? Have you chosen a side in this battle?
