Snooki Retires from Jersey Shore

If you are a fan of the hit MTV reality series Jersey Shore, it may break your heart to hear that Snooki just announced that she is retiring from the show. She broke the news on her podcast on Friday and said that stepping away from the show is what’s best for her at the moment. Her main reason for this decision is that she hates being away from her kids. At 32 years old she feels it isn’t mature and responsible of her to leave her three kids to go party on TV. She also said she doesn’t like the direction the show is heading in. There is a lot of drama and negativity that she doesn’t have time for anymore. (via Popcrush)

No More Fake Calling in Sick for Chipotle Workers

Fun fact: Chipotle has nurses on call to check if workers who call in sick are just hungover. “We have nurses on call, so that if you say, ‘Hey, I’ve been sick,’ you get the call into the nurse, The nurse validates that it’s not a hangover — you’re really sick — and then we pay for the day off to get healthy again,” said a spokesperson for Chipotle. So if you ever thought about lying to get out of work, think again! (via Business Insider)

Bill Nye the Science Guy Sues Disney

Bill Nye the science guy is taking Disney to court and suing them for $28 million. This lawsuit has been going on since 2017 and has just been given the green light to head to court. Our childhood hero is accusing Disney of withholding profits from his show Bill Nye the Science Guy. They originally had an agreement that Bill Nye would get 16.5 percent of the net profits from sales and distributions of the show. However, in 2008, Disney sent him a check for about only $600,000. Then they had the nerve to ask for nearly $500,000 of it back due to an “accounting error.” So Bill Nye requested an audit, which eventually found he was owed royalty payments in the amount of $9 million. Guess its safe to say we wont be getting a Bill Nye the Science Guy reboot. (via TooFab)

Antonio Brown Apologizes for Off-Field Antics

Looks like AB desperately wants to play football again and is willing to do whatever it takes to convince NFL owners he’s worth taking a chance on. The NFL is investigating Brown under its personal conduct policy after his former trainer Britney Taylor filed a lawsuit alleging she was sexually assaulted by Brown on multiple occasions. He also was accused of sexual misconduct by an artist who was working at his home in 2017. Read his latest statement below.

First and foremost, I’d like to apologize to my family, friends and anyone who I offended. I never once meant to make anyone feel like I wasn’t thankful and appreciative of the opportunity that I was afforded to play the game I love. I’ve worked hard over the years to earn a chance to compete in the greatest game on earth. Over the years I was met with challenges and I can honestly say I didn’t handle those challenges in the manner that I should have. Over the past few weeks I’ve had the opportunity to think about everything that’s transpired and I am deeply sorry to all who I’ve offended. While my behavior was inexcusable, sometimes when people are coming at you with false information and allegations, we handle ourselves in ways that we sometimes regret. I do take full responsibility for my actions and I’m working everyday to repair what I broke. I do know that if I’m ever given the opportunity to play the game that I love, I’m going to work extremely hard to show the world how much I appreciate another chance. To the organizations that I offended, I offer my sincere apology to you and my hope is that you forgive me and help me move on from this minor setback. I look forward to competing and helping a team reach their goals.
