Miley Cyrus‘ ‘Bangerz’ is up for Best Pop Vocal Album at the 2015 Grammy Awards — but Miley didn’t even believe she was really nominated at first.

“Um, I thought it was a joke,” Miley revealed to Entertainment Tonight. “Like, my friend was in my room and said, ‘Hey, you just got nominated for a Grammy.’ And I literally said, ‘You’re kidding.’ … I was like, ‘No, there’s no way.’ And then I Googled, and I was like ‘Oh, I am. I actually am.'”

Miley, who was at Art Basel in Miami at the time, celebrated like only she could — by partying it up, of course.

“We definitely partied a little to celebrate,” she told ET. “I was super excited.”

And you know what they say — it’s an honor just to be nominated. In fact, Miley revealed that she won’t be upset if she doesn’t win.

“You know, the chances are… I’m not a pessimist, but I won’t be crying myself to sleep if I don’t win a Grammy,” she revealed, explaining that the most significant awards to her are the ones voted by the fans.

“The awards I usually win are always fan nominated. I’m more stoked about those ’cause of the people,” she explained. “There’s nothing there in the middle of it. It’s just direct. It’s what the kids are really feelin’ right now.”
