It’s often considered one of the greatest classic rock songs of all time and on Monday, Sept. 15, Panic! at the Disco shared a video of them covering Queen’s legendary ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ live on stage.

The band had been performing the song as part of The Gospel Tour, which concluded in August.

‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ was first released in 1975 from Queen’s ‘A Night at the Opera’ album. It’s considered one of the most elaborate recordings ever due to its complex nature of mixing a ballad, a guitar solo, an opera-like section and regular hard rock into one song. It’s lyrics have also been a mystery in that the late Freddie Mercury never fully explained to the public what the song was truly about. Critics and musicians over the years have debated the meaning of the song several times.

The song enjoyed a resurgence in 1992 after it was popularized in the comedy ‘Wayne’s World.’ A music video featuring footage from the movie was released and ultimately won the MTV Video Music Award for ‘Best Video From a Film.’
