Taylor Swift Says Being a Pop Star is Super Easyby Matthew Scott Donnelly | PopCrush
What’s the best way to decompress after a long, hard day at work? Don’t ask Taylor Swift— she doesn’t seem to need to.
The world’s reigning pop princess, who most recently cleaned house at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards, has weighed in on what it takes to be a global phenomenon. As far as she can tell, it doesn’t involve a hell of a lot of elbow grease.
“It’s not that hard, I’m telling you now it’s really not,” T. Swift told Radio 1 Breakfast Show host Nick Grimshaw before her Sunday set (May 24) at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Norwich, according to the BBC. “Sometimes I really don’t think it’s that hard at all.”
New career directive: Find way to become famous, award-winning musician.
And with the seeming ease of her career considered, the “Bad Blood” singer says she’s especially grateful for the exhaustion that occasionally comes after a lengthy set.
“That’s the best part of this [touring]: when you walk off stage and you’re drenched in sweat and you’re tired and your legs hurt,” she explained. “It feels like you’re really working for the job.”
“I really like the feeling of: ‘You know what? I’ve been busy. I deserve this watching two hours of TV at the end of the night,'” she added. A word to the wise: Friday Night Lights is still streaming if you’re in the market for suggestions…
